I found this precious well-worn and obviously very loved hymnal at an antique store, and just had to have it! It was missing the back cover as well as several pages. I have looked through and rescued the pages of many of my favorite old hymns, which I have been incorporating into my own artwork.
♥ Mr. and Mrs. “B”: these pages are extra special because of the hand written notes (in pencil) on them, telling which hymns were their favorites! Most pages also have a side without a note, as well.
♥ This listing is for 20 vintage sheet music pages which have been removed from “The Modern Hymnal” (copyright 1926)
♥ No other part of the hymnal is included in this sale, but is pictured for your information about the origin of the sheet music.
♥ Your actual pages may differ from the ones shown. Each page is about 5.5″ x 8″.
♥ Pages have aged with time and have yellowed, curled and slightly torn edges. There are visible holes where the pages had been stapled to the binding.
